About Mark Levy

Mark Levy is pleased that you have taken the time to visit his web site. Mark is
a South Florida native and is proud to live in New York, where his
parents and grandparents were born.
Mark graduated cum laude from the University of Florida with a Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree in Theatre Performance in spring 2009. In his short time at The University of Florida, Mark has been awarded various honors including making the Dean’s List for his two years at U of F.
Mark has also been inducted into the following honor societies: Delta Epsilon Iota, Tau Sigma, and Golden Key International. Mark has been an active member of Florida Players with perfect attendance at meetings.
Mark has had the privilege to act in numerous productions during his college career. Some of his favorite roles have included: Jack Goes Boating (Jack), The Braggart Soldier (Pyrgopolyncies), West Side Story (Officer Krupke), The Good Doctor (Cherdyakov/Husband), Meet Me in St. Louis (Clinton Badger), and Enemy of the People (Morten Kiil).
Since moving to New York he has had the privilege to have appeared in several shows including: The Shape of Things (Adam), Othello (Roderigo) Sexual Perversity in Chicago (Danny), Arsenic and Old Lace (Officer Klein), The Actor's Nightmare (George Spelvin) and Impossible to Leave(Part of Manhattan Theatre Source's InGenius Festival 2011).
He has been heavily active at Upright Citizen's Brigade training center and is currently enjoying learning the art of Improv from some of their best teachers including: Michael Delaney, Shannon O'Neill, Gavin Speiller, Kevin Hines, Chelsea Clarke. He has also taken workshops with Matt Besser, Kevin Mullaney, and Rob Riggle.
And since October 2012, Mark has hosted a popular podcast: Hit the Mark! with Mark Levy, in it he interviews actors and improvisers. It has recently hit 50 episodes and can be downloaded at iTunes
